Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the Edspress website, applications, and related services. By accessing or using Edspress, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, the school or organization you represent.
Eligibility and Accounts
You must be authorized to use Edspress and able to form a binding agreement on your own behalf or on behalf of your organization. You are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs through your account.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Edspress to:
- violate law, school policy, or third-party rights;
- upload, generate, or distribute unlawful, abusive, infringing, or deceptive content;
- interfere with the service, probe it for vulnerabilities, or bypass access controls;
- use the service to build competing models or products from Edspress content, system outputs, or non-public data;
- submit information you do not have permission to share through the service.
Review AI-Generated Materials
Edspress helps teachers draft and adapt instructional materials, but educators remain responsible for reviewing AI-generated materials before sharing them with students, families, or colleagues. You are responsible for confirming accuracy, suitability, and alignment with your classroom, school, and legal obligations.
Ownership and Licenses
You retain ownership of content you submit to Edspress, subject to the rights needed for Edspress to host, process, store, and display that content in order to operate the service. Edspress retains ownership of the service, software, site design, branding, and all related intellectual property.
Edspress grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the service in accordance with these terms. No right is granted to copy, reverse engineer, resell, or create derivative services from Edspress except as expressly allowed by law or written agreement.
Service Availability and Support
Edspress may change, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time. Edspress will aim to provide reasonable notice for material changes when practical, especially where schools or paying customers may be affected.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Edspress is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. Edspress does not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every use case.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Edspress will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, profits, goodwill, or educational opportunity arising from or related to use of the service.
Termination
Edspress may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated, if access creates security or legal risk, or if continued service is no longer operationally feasible. You may stop using the service at any time.
Disputes
Before escalating a dispute, you agree to contact Edspress at hello@edspress.com and try to resolve the issue informally. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, these terms do not designate a specific governing law or venue.
Changes to These Terms
Edspress may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When changes are posted, the updated effective date will appear on this page. Continued use of Edspress after the updated terms take effect means you accept the revised terms.
